Good Morning Everyone. Since we are freezing our ----- off in the Northeast,  I thought it would be appropriate to work on this frozen foods building. Here are a few pictures. I also am finishing some steel mill structures that I am also posting. Let's see what you have been working on.

Thanks for starting this thread every week.  Your work is inspiring.  Where do all your masterpieces call home?  It would be nice to see their final resting places and see them in the real (1:48 scale) world.

Alan, Steve, David, Johan, Norm...  Seeing your work is very intimidating, but it is something to aspire to in building my first layout.  Thanks for your contributions as it shows what can be accomplished.  It also provide ideas for us not in your league.  Thanks guys.

Steve,

Great job on the truck and building.

David,

The last picture is amazing.

Bar,

I love the fence around the house at the grade crossing.

Norm,

The garage came out great.

Joe,

It can't be to warm there since your building fronts are not melting. Nice work.

Bob,

Hopefully, you will see some posts on layouts where my models sit. I learn every day from others. I hope you enjoy building your layout.

Here are a couple of pictures of the finished Frozen Food  building with the freezer unit in place on the roof.

I've been working on this piece over the last few weeks. It's made from foam core board covered in clapboards made from pre-painted strips of artist paper. The windows are from Tichy (not happy with their clear laser cut glazing, too many dis colored spots), the sign is hand painted, and the stone foundation is engraved from plaster of paris blanks. Progress would have been a lot farther along had I not kept breaking the blanks. On the third one, I got it out of the mold and then cracked it cutting it to size. You can see the crack in the close-up photo. It should disappear when painted, weathered, and detail castings are added. Still much more work to be completed before I can call it finished.

This building represents the original structure in a large factory that produces machine parts. The larger, newer part of the complex goes from the right side of this building into the corner where the boxcar is sitting. It's kitbashed from several OGR kits.
