P1020978P1020979Good Morning Everyone,

I do not work out of o scale too much but I have just completed a model I think is worthy of showcasing that is not in o scale. It is a catalytic cracking unit found in a refinery, Here are some pictures. Let's see what you have been working on.

Very nice Allen! You don't see that in the Plastruct kit!

Joe,

The model is constructed in HO scale.

The blue vessel is the regenerator. The large rusted vessel is the catalytic cracker.

The yellow vessel is the catalyst hopper.

The tall silver vessel in the back is a distillation tower

I am not sure what the two silver vessels with the hemispherical heads are called.

The model was constructed based on a picture of the catalytic cracker at the Bayway Refinery in Linden, N.J.

Coach Joe,

Thank you on behalf of all of you that post your creations here

I am sure that everyone that participates in this thread is more than happy to help you with your modeling  questions.
