Alan, a nice bit of whimsy. I'd be more inclined to eat at Sam's it the Hess No. 2 Oil wasn't as visible.
Good morning all - I finally am getting to landscaping in my train yard! My layout required a major redesign because like many before me I could not resist the allure of the MTH Premier diesel which at 19.5 inches long and 4 inches tall was tough to accommodate on my small layout. So definitely a mistake in planning on my part but I am now back in business. I am going to wrap up the landscaping/ballasting on the train yard this afternoon but here are the preliminary pics. Enjoy

I made this for a field for one of the field foreman who retired from the company I worked for. The last tank he worked on was 1511 at Hess in Rensselaer, New York. At one time he was a lobsterman, so I thought this would be something that would give him a laugh.
