Good Morning Everyone,
I will start off with a model I have created in the past. This is a Conrail diesel service facility that was constructed for a modular club. Lets see what you have been working on.

Great work as always Steve. I especially like the weathering on the gondola, and the hanger reminds me of the old one's at Mitchell Field/ Nassau CC.

While not at the skill level posted by above here's my scratch built rendition of Nasa's Vehicle Assembly Building employing Lionel's theory of selective compression. It's all foam core with 1/4" square stock for bracing.
After taking this picture I realize I need to paint the inside, light gray or maybe a dark gray.
Doors are made out of gray craft foam and gray cardboard. I had planned on using gray foam core form doors but realized the seven panels of the closed door would be built up way too thick. My wife was heading in the direction of Michaels and came up with the craft foam idea.
I had hoped to have the American flag and the Nasa "meatball" on this side for today's post but realized I had water slide decals and the paper face of the foam core might react badly with the water. On another thread it was recommended that I clear coat the surface before applying the decals but I think I'll try to find stickers instead of water slide. Any other suggestions? Maybe some interior lighting is in order too.
I had issues cutting the foam core. Some cuts, not many, were clean all the way through but many cuts were nice and smooth through the paper faces on each side but the intermediate foam would pull and tear. I used snap a blade knife and snapped off the end every two or three cuts. Any suggestions on how to get clean cuts through the foam core more consistently? Was I relying on the very tip of the blade instead of the cutting edge, did I need to snap off the end after every cut?
I know that I've been slacking.......but I have decided what I'll start with when I'm back from the convention in Burlington......a Dennis Brennan product:
In the hot Virginia summer, outdoor use of MinWax oil-based stains are perfect jobs for outdoor AM projects.....
Have a great Sunday, folks!

Nice work and thanks for sharing guys!
I have been working on measurements, then procurement of windows and doors to use in a model of my house.
I thought it would be easier to cut the holes in the foam core board for windows and doors before I assembled the walls. Here’s a layout of the front face of the house. I kitbashed the front door with sidelites and atrium window.
While I’m at it, I’m slowly working on another petroleum storage tank to complement the terminal Alan built for my layout.

No
It's a MARX. Found the (large window version) for 8 bucks at a St. Pete TCA show. Raised it up due to S SCALE and cut it shorter to avoid the Atlas O o36 curve long car overhangs.
Coach,
Your building looks good. You also came up with some good dimensions for it. It will fit right in.
Anthony,
Enjoy the house and tank construction. They look like they are shaping up pretty well.
Steve,
Wonderfull as always. Scrap yards are really cool.

Is that a plasticville airport hanger in the background?
Marx as answered above.
K-Line also bought Marx and offered them with the extended windows.
