Good Morning Everyone,
I will start out with a few pictures of some projects I just completed. Lets see what you have been working on.

Alan- spectacular work as always.
Chris- The whole scene look great. Are you going to detail the interior?

So is this a combo of the Lionel single stall enginehouse kit and the Lionel factory kit or the Car repair shop kit and the Lionel Single stall enginehouse kit? Inquiring minds want to know!
The donor Lionel Kits were: Lionel Factory Building & Lionel Maintenance Shed Building kits. The Sawtooth roof sections on the lower roof were removed from a poorly assembled Korber Small Factory building at a local show. While it's tough to see, I did swap out the back wall of the taller 3 story section with some scrap wall sections from a Lionel Single Stall engine house that I had left over from the Coal Mine project. I only chose to do that because the back wall can't be seen, and it saved me enough of the nice Factory Building wall sections (6), to make another building down the road.
Bob, at the very least I am going to get some LCL freight loads on the warehouse floor. I did cut all new windows which are clear, as opposed to the slightly frosted kit windows. I am thinking about some desks chairs, file cabinets and office workers on the second floor I installed.
Although no layout yet, here are some structures in my collection:
Kitbashed from a Korber #2010 kit
Standard Korber Grain elevator with an interior
Kitbashed korber flats
So this structure was originally Norm C's idea found on his great PRR layout. I had to have one! the turbine ventilators and exhaust fan in window above the dock rotate.
Bravo Chris A. Great build.
Guys, some great looking innovative projects this week.
stubbygda, I’ve been looking at your projects. No words to describe how over the top they are. It’s almost a shame to put a building over some of your work.
thanks dave. yea i work hard on the building designs to place windows and doors so u can see the inside as best ya can. its overkill but i enjoy doing it so that’s all that counts lol.
Most of the above have to do with work. Here is some fun and relaxation.
I picked up these campers at York last fall. The kids are ready for a bike ride while Mom and Dad relax by the campfire. The campfires are from Evans Designs. Easier to set up than a real campfire. I dressed it up with some rocks for a fire pit and some birch twigs to simulate logs.
These folks take a break with an ice cold drink at the Camp Office which was an MTH Post office that was weathered and re-purposed. The proprietor waits for his next customers and is hoping someone buys some of that firewood he's been chopping all day.
This fella is glad there is some shade while he tends to his hookups. The water, sewer and electric lines are just repurposed scraps of wire.
Phydeaux , the French Labrador brazenly steals a hotdog with his owner right there. This RV is a Plasticville model that was repainted and decaled. Notice those baby moon hubcaps. Those are decals.
While her husband is grilling, Karen hopes to get invited across the street for a cold one.
"Phydeaux , the French Labrador"
This was worth an extra laugh. The sad part is someone has probably spelled it like that for real.
Its amazing what can be accomplished when you just sit down ,relax and concentrate. Great job guys.
