Here are a few photos of my most recent project...custom-decorating and weathering a plain Jane (detail-lacking) MTH RailKing non-powered Jersey Central ALCo RSD-4 into a more "Premier-like" diesel with lots of scale details.  Here's a link to the thread that described the entire project which I posted over on the Hi-Rail/O-Gauge Forum.

I built a model of the Edmund Fitzgerald for this same customer. He actually supplied me with three wood hulls. One for the pictured ship, one for an ore carrier and one for a super tanker. I added a flat sheet of styrene on each deck surface for my construction. On the Fitzgerald, I reshaped the hull a little. They were great projects. I have constructed a number of petroleum and ore barges from scratch using styrene.
