Hello Everyone,
I will start off with an oldie but goodie. It is a model of an LNG tanker that I constructed in the past. This ship was also lighted with about fifty grain of wheat bulbs.

Here are a few photos of my most recent project...custom-decorating and weathering a plain Jane (detail-lacking) MTH RailKing non-powered Jersey Central ALCo RSD-4 into a more "Premier-like" diesel with lots of scale details. Here's a link to the thread that described the entire project which I posted over on the Hi-Rail/O-Gauge Forum.

Excellent as always. How long does it take you to finish a car? i know it varies but a guesstimate is fine.

Joe,
I love the engine and the background building.
Steve,
Fantastic work.

Allan,
Wow man, the boat looks fantastic! Have you ever built an ore boat?

David,
I built a model of the Edmund Fitzgerald for this same customer. He actually supplied me with three wood hulls. One for the pictured ship, one for an ore carrier and one for a super tanker. I added a flat sheet of styrene on each deck surface for my construction. On the Fitzgerald, I reshaped the hull a little. They were great projects. I have constructed a number of petroleum and ore barges from scratch using styrene.

Weathering generally runs just under 2 hrs. per item.
