wonderful Alan. Thanks for sharing and kicking this off every Sunday.
NICE! but why does that grey structure look familiar?
HMMM...
Some things I have been working on -
Just added decals to an Industrial Storage Tank
Getting a 3-Stall Locomotive shed ready for paint.
I have been busy making 28 building fronts using OGR walls. The brick color was painted, followed by an application of Dullcote, joint compound "mortar" added, Dullcote, India ink wash to tone down the joint compound. Now I am handplanting doors and windows. got a bunch more to do.

Reduced the six stall roundhouse to three, repaired all on the internal supports. Two more doors to attach so that they all work plus some trim work on the left side. Despite being all gargraves on the layout the roundhouse area will be o tubular as a homage to the original.
Now i have to construct a platfrom and track plan for the extension that will be this buildings home. Also looking at options for a rube goldberg turntable. Picture is on the floor so i can visualize placement.

I needed the extra day to sort out the bakery. I built 2 versions out of foam and photocopies. In the end, I wound up merging them together. Trying to make the building fit between the road under the bridge and the track coming from the opposite direction gives it the #4 shape. For just about all the other buildings, I’ve managed to avoid the need for dealing with the truck side of the building by making flats. This one doesn’t present that option, so the street side dock is set into the building off of the street.

The concept is looking pretty cool Boilermaker.Nicework so far.
Boilermaker1,
Nice configuration. That will be one heavy building. I like what you did with the other DD kit in the rear against the wall.

I think its going to have to be built on a sheet of plywood for sure. I think its also going to need to be filled or braced with something inside it for some protection against getting knocked into. If its hollow, it wont take much for it to explode if anything bumps into it.
I agree. The kit is impressive but as large as it is it's very fragile once assembled. Randy states that in the instructions. Keep us posted on your progress.
