Good morning Everyone,
I will start out with some conveyors I created for a produce building that will go from the first to second floor. I still have to paint the conveyor belts black. Let's see what you have been working on.

Alan,
Congratulations on all the fine models posted elsewhere today. I look forward to your discussion every week. Thanks for doing it.
My photos show the southwest corner of my 10’-by-5’ layout, which was the subject of an article in OGR Magazine Run 304 in 2019. The layout consists of just a loop of track and two stub tracks – one of which is at Trumbull Junction, where the control tower was built from a plastic kit by Atlas O (first photo). The rear of the Idaho Hotel (kit by Bar Mills) and the truss bridge (scratch-built) are visible further down the track behind the New Haven Railroad GE 44-ton diesel locomotives. The Long Hill Fire Department (second photo) was built from a kit (Mt. Albert Scale Lumber) and the brown trackside shanty was scratch-built. The third photo looks eastward at Corner Deli and the crossing shanty – both built from kits. The layout rests on two 5’-by-5’ pieces of plywood and is easily transportable just by lifting them off the modular table framework. My original intention was to expand the layout by extending the two stub tracks onto another 5’-by-5’ section of table but personal inertia has prevented me from doing that so far. After building everything on the layout, I’m content for now just to run trains, but that doesn’t leave room for any new scenery or structures – my favorite part of the hobby.

Alan, what material are you using to make the belts for your conveyors? Excellent work as always! Melgar, i love all the detail in those scenes.
A Bar Mills kit built last year. I still do not know where to put it on the layout. It was a fun paint and build during the stay inside mode I adopted. Train ON!

Mel,
Thank you. I love looking at the work you did on this layout. There are so many great details.
Dave,
I used Evergreen corrugated sheet. There are many different corrugation spacing available. I used board and batten siding for this belt.
Joe,
This will be a fun build for you. Since this is a present, talk to the people purchasing this and see if there is a specific detail you can add to personalize this gift.
Beautiful craftsmanship, Pete!
Great stuff, everyone!
Peter
All, many thanks for the great Sunday Scenic Showcase. Just amazing builds. I second Arnold's comments. Pete beautiful scenic layout always look forward to your updates.
Tom
Once again the Sunday Scenic Showcase is "must see". Tanks to all the regular contributors, it's a better read than the Sunday paper.
Great work Pete.
