Good Morning Everyone,
I will start off with a model I constructed in the past. Lets see what you have been working on.

Finally had time to make significant progress on the upper level. Twill days of terrain and wiring. More still required. Since I’m a woodworker, wanted a relatable theme, with a cabinet shop, sash and door factory and a lumber yard. Lots more scenery to go.
On the lower level, my liability insurance company threatened me after little Timmy took a header off the low wall around the carousel. Fencing now installed.
The basement/garage reno is coming along......I had some free time and I thought that I would do a small project.
This building kit was built by someone else and bought many years ago with the thought that it would be a backgroung building on the old layout......
On the new layout, the building will be in the city scene and I needed to put a rear wall on. In my "parts box", I had some pieces that would work, but the kits were molded in different colors. This is my attempt to get them closer in color. Once they are part of the city, I believe that the color difference will be less striking.
Next, will be assembly......strip styrene will be my friend....
Have a great and safe week, everyone!
Peter

Nice compact model Alan! Do you have the name and part number for the doors on the silos?
Dave
David,
The name would be "Alan Graziano scratch built"
Peter,
The garage and you building modification look great. Was that old building done by Tom Kerrigan ?
Jstraw,
It looks like you populated the area very nicely with buildings. Looks good.

Its not unheard of for less visible walls to be made of a different color, lesser quality for aesthetics type of brick. I wouldn't worry too much about how close the color match is to the street side of the building.
The kit itself is an old B/J Traction resin front. Nice kits, just be careful handling it.... can be brittle.
Make sure the backerei has a few baskets of pretzels in the window.

Alan……bought it through the buy/sell listings on this Forum with a York delivery…….probably 8-10 years ago…..and, I don’t remember from whom….

Great work everyone. This weekend I finished a kit that I bashed into a flat of a beer distributor. This model will go along the back edge of the layout. I finally weathered the building and added some details on the loading dock. Right now I am sorting out the wiring for the neon sign and interior/exterior lighting. Maybe I’ll have it lit by this evening…..I also worked some on the lighting of an oil refinery project that has been ongoing. I want to put this structure next to some petroleum tanks that have been in the new portion of the layout for some time. I found a photo on the web and basically constructed what you see using tinkercad and my 3D printer. All is made from scratch including the piping and railings. Lots to still do with using the piping to house all the lighting wires! Have a good week all!
Mike,
The brewery looks great. That 3d printing for the oil facility is crazy.
Boilermaker1,
Your building g looks great so far. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will be placed on the layout in one piece.
David,
I do not think I will recognize that mill when you are finished with it.
