Good Morning Everyone,
I will start out with something I constructed in the past. Let's see what you have been working on.

This is a background "flat" that I am just finishing - built at a 45 degree angle. Made from an old Cornerstone "City Litho" flat. I cut off the bottom so that the doors are at ground level and added a cinder block wall the to right side. Hopefully this week I will weather and add to my layout.
This view looks at the structures on the southeast corner of my 12’-by-8’ model railroad, completed in 2004. The large building at left is the section house at Vance Junction, Colorado (on the narrow-gauge Rio Grande Southern Railroad), built from a kit by Banta Modelworks. I built the tower-like structure at right from a craftsman kit (don’t recall manufacturer) and modified it by adding the third level and a shed at rear. At far left is a crossing shanty also built from a Banta kit. The elevated terrain on which the buildings sit was made from 1-inch-thick layers of extruded pink foam covered with Mold-a-Scene plaster.

Alan, another great showcase this week! You station is work of art. All the details are amazing. Steve nobody does it better! The weathering is always inspiring and so realistic. Steve I had to look twice, your really did amazing modification of the Cornerstone structures. Melgar your buildings really look great. Mathew nice work on your Cornerstone buildings too. I have a couple sets of those Cornerstone buildings and now some ideas of how to make them different.
Thanks all for sharing these great ideas.

Enter at your own risk....
Matthew, nice work on that Cornerstone building - it really looks like a realistic city building in your version.

Sirt,
What a great kit bash. I really like the crosswalk and want to eventually have a structure on my layout with one. Your attention to detail matches your weathering skills. Is this piece on your layout? Thanks for sharing.
