I have been looking all over my shop for at least a year for some Quaker State tank car decals. I had them made up some years back for one of my customers that asked me to scratch build about twenty tank cars for him. I finally found the decals yesterday and was so happy that I decided to build one of these cars again. The pictures show the storage bin I made up to house the parts to make the cars, along with the original n-scale prototype car, and some pictures of the construction.

I will try to post the completed car next week.

Sorry I missed posting last week.

Alan nice job with your parts & decal storage bin. I saw that WONDERFUL LARGE TANK CAR you also built. Can't remember if I saw a picture or when I was in your shop but it was a very nice Tank Car.

I have some pictures of Tank cars to post below. Sorry I missed your call Friday but we will talk this week. Good to see you in the shop.
