In addition to a 3.4 degree curved incline and a very nice easement, I thought it would also be nice to have some super elevation as well. Since the Bachmann piers only provide swivel in one plane, I decided to make a variant that allows for two degrees of freedom. I will need to add a set-screw to keep the tilt in place but that's a small price to pay for the ability to have adjustable super elevation along the curved incline.
