So after reading Lee's books I decided to revamp my superstreets. Originally I has a loop around my UPS area & a bump & bgo trolley line down main street. I decided to make it one continuous loop. In one of the photos you can see how I cut a piece to fit following Lee's instruction. In another photo you can see how I kept continuity by soldering connecting wires, which would then be soldered to the adjacent piece of track.

That's great, Spence. SuperStreets really adds to the "wow factor" on a layout in my opinion.
Did you have to remove that siding in order to accomplish this?

Looks Great!

That's neat, but can you explain the need to cut the track? Was it to make it fit the loop?
Paul' yes it was to fit the loop. I have several twists & turns with different radii & thus the need for a cut.
That is one very cool layout. Nice road system, and cool to have the 'Streets road right by the UPS location, too. I was looking for the UPS truck that is bringing my Legacy Berkshire today, but didn't see it. I guess it had already left!
Lee, I have you to thank for the expansion of my superstreets. With all of your posts & books it just gave me the kick inn the pants to expand. Thank you very much for your contributions here on the forum.
Spence,
Nice job on the "cut & splice" - looks good. That change sure gives you a nice long run for your 'Streets vehicles.

That's really neat! Love to have the space.
Great job! That bridge behind the facility looks extremely dangerous, though. I would NOT want to drive over a bridge that narrow.
Spence....we don't get enough pictures of your layout....it looks like you are coming along with a great one!! Lee has inspired a lot of folks to use streets and it appears you have incorporated it very well..

Alan; one of these days I will have to take a video of the layout. Unfortunately I only have a phone camera so I don't know how good it would be. It's ok for the shortb ones that I do. I've had a couple of people ask about the layout.
