Here are two short videos of my 39 Weaver club cars running on the outside suspended layout. I wanted to use one engine, but both engines are missing some traction tires, so I had to use two. I don't think my RK SD45 has enough power, or my SW9. I definitely don't have any steam with enough power.

The layout is about 10' X 16', and there was about a two foot gap between the lead engine and the caboose. I'll have to measure it tomorrow, because now I'm curious myself.
