I sat through presentations from Bachman, Weaver, MTH & Lionel. Thought I'd share what jumped out at me.
Bachman
True Blast Plus sounds in engines. New sounds will now include diesel engine sound etc.. not just whistle/horn and bell
Better detailing on engines, finer scale railings and details
EZ Streets now shipping
Showed operating cars with K-Line remote
Weaver
Brass engines starting to ship from China
Woodside gondola and covered hopper shown (They looked nice)
Paul Fischer was excited about how the tooling for the Milwaukee Rib Sides was coming along
MTH
Indicated that MTH continues working into the HO and European O Market
Still working on production issues in China
Also mentioned a wireless control capability for DCS that would allow persons to control trains from smartphones
Lionel
Lots of product shown
New Presidential Boxcars being made in the USA at a Michigan production facility
Legacy F7's, Sharks, Centipedes and GP9's all looked nice
New mini remote command coming for Thomas series. Engines will run on track power and respond to handheld controller designed for a child
Postwar Inspired Black SF Warbonnet F3, NYC Red Lightening Stripe F3 and Alco's looked really nice.
