Team Track & Transload Tuesday : 05-05-2020

When the boys in management announced the acquisition of a new caboose, the road crews were notably excited. Rummers of a shiny new extended vision model complete with air conditioning and first class napping areas quickly spread. Amazing new amenities were added with each retelling of the news.

So, when word came that the new car would arrive for a temporary layover at the Everett Team Tracks, everyone showed up for a first look at the luxurious, five-star, gold plated, vista domed, presidential palace on rails.

Unfortunately for the guys, reality sometimes comes with a raging flood of disappointment.

Thomas - really nice caboose  Too bad the crew got their hopes up and were disappointed in the end.  Nice narrative btw! 

Here is a gondola load of aggregate on team track one in Lower Patsburg.  There were no available open hopper cars and the county roads dept. needed a load pretty quickly for repairing some roads which had been washed out, due to flooding.   The only cars available in a pinch were gons.  Looks like the crew is going to be here for  a while.
