Just read in my U of I alumni magazine that the library is lending out meters, scopes and power supplies so that engineering students can work at home during the pandemic. Almost wish I was back in school again.
I was more of a theoretical engineer. I went to the library every day after classes and read every book dealing with the classwork I was doing. Whether it had been Physics, Math, Fields, and yes, the venerable Transistor. I tell the story that I never cracked my class books and sold them as new when I graduated.
When you block a person, they can no longer invite you to a private message or post to your profile wall. Replies and comments they make will be collapsed/hidden by default. Finally, you'll never receive email notifications about content they create or likes they designate for your content.
