The telegraph came in to Tombstone in 1881 (same year as the famous gunfight). I was able to pick up an old telegraph key so I decided to add it to my Tombstone layout. It has a loud enough click so I wired some lights into mini covered wagons and placed them about the layout so that they light up with each click. Here's a short video demoing how they work. Adds a bit more realism to my layout.

I'll be putting up more pictures and videos of the layout later on. It's a work in progress (like many). The problem is I get unsatisfied and tear out a section and replace it with some new ideas.
