Can I mix the negative ground on an AC transformer to the Common or negative on DC power. In other words, can the AC ground terminate with the Negative Common on DC? It seems I did this years ago but I cannot recall.
Yep, as long as the supplies have isolated outputs, it should be fine. FWIW, most do have isolation, just pointing that out for the odd time it applied.
