WOW!
Thanks Joe'
My friend Bob Santos, owned a 1954 Mercury Monterrey, Sun Valley in sea foam green, in 1955 while serving in the US Air force as a Sergeant. There is an exact replica die cast model in 1:43 scale available from many retailers. Before warned, (LOL).. This contribution is for those that love cars. No trains involved in this one.. When I saw the Mercury on line, I couldn't resist and decided to build this Dio in honor of Bob. When I was 10, my Dad bought a jet black 54 Merc with the largest engine, 4 BRL and dual exhaust that Ford offered. It was one of the fastest bad *** cars of the day. I loved that car and this build brought me back to those "Glory Days"..
Lots of night action - Do they serve cocktails?
Look terrific!
I am here to tell ya that your diorama is just FREAKIN' AWESOME! I'm told that my Uncle George, (on my mom's side), had a Merc Sun Valley just like your friend had. Beautiful work my friend!

Wonderful job!
Thank you, Sam, Chief Bob, and BobbyD'. Yes indeed the 54 Mercury was a unique car. Very popular today among vintage car collectors...
