The best home layout I have ever seen

I have admired Jean & Pat's layout since I joined the form back in 2005 or 2006 (under a different forum handle and account). It is very nicely done and I continue to enjoy seeing photos on occasion. 

Very nice Marty. But do they have a "Guard cat" watching the layout?

 

Chris, you know how much Ralph loves trains.  He would have loved that layout.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Pat and Jean's layout, and I hope there will be an opportunity in the near future for one or more return visits.  Not only is the layout great (and now I even know how to use DCS ), but they have an equally beautiful home and are two of the finest and most gracious folks I have ever had the pleasure to know.

 

The Marinari layout was featured in OGR not too long ago, and at this past York I reminded Pat and Jean that an update feature is welcome anytime they care to provide it.  Same goes for your layout, Marty!

Pat and Jean welcomed myself and my wife Michelle into the OGR family and York 7 years ago. They have been friends and role models for us in the o gauge hobby. We are hoping this summer to finally visit their home and layout and see what we have only seen in pictures here and in the pages of OGR.

hope we see more. Now that I'm getting more into tinplate, and Gauge 1 beckons, I think  the idea of a suspended ceiling loop is great. That blue train looks fantastic up there.
