Yesterday after leaving York, Dotty and I headed south (I live north) to visit with Pat and Jean Marinari.  They have a very large and expertly done home layout that is the product of both Pat and Jean  working on and building it.  I am not a stranger to visiting home layouts and now I am able to say I have seen the best one yet.  The attention to detail and craftsmanship is the best I have ever seen.  The trains, trackwork, details, breathtaking scenes and operation can not be equaled anywhere I have visited.  Pat and Jean have all super elevated curves and in addition to the fantastic layout, they have a ceiling layout to run standard gauge.  Below are only a few of the pictures we took.  To Pat and Jean, a job well done.

I apologize for the pictures going away.  I will add them to the bottom of the post.

thank you,

Marty

I have had the pleasure of visiting Pat and Jean's layout, and I hope there will be an opportunity in the near future for one or more return visits.  Not only is the layout great (and now I even know how to use DCS ), but they have an equally beautiful home and are two of the finest and most gracious folks I have ever had the pleasure to know.

The Marinari layout was featured in OGR not too long ago, and at this past York I reminded Pat and Jean that an update feature is welcome anytime they care to provide it.  Same goes for your layout, Marty!
