Wow Ben! I can't wait to see all the changes at this year's Trainstock!
I love it and can't wait to see it. The Empire Records record shop was a gift from Sue and me to Marty. It was my father's record store and was located at 39 South 52nd Street in Philadelphia. My father died when I was 18 and I worked in the store for 6 years. It was quite an education. 45s were 69 cents, and albums were usually $2.99 and $3.99. Stereo an additional $1.00. A gallon of gas was between 25 and 30 cents. The duplicate of the store is on my layout.
Marty was a wonderful person and this is a great tribute to him.

What a special place to carry on Marty's legacy.
Wow Ben everything looks great. Marty is looking down with a huge smile ! The replica i built of his home is on the perfect layout where it belongs , I'm glad we decided to put it there .

That's quite an array of buildings Ben, can't wait to see them in person. Sure wish I was seeing Marty in person as well...
Awesome to see South Station and the others as well preserved.
How neat it would be if all well-done layouts could be preserved in some form. I always think of John Armstrong's Canandaigua Southern - 50 some years in the making.
Awesome Ben. Marty lives on in our hearts and on the layout. Can’t wait to see it in person.
So nice Ben. Looking forward to seeing them in person.
Leading off with Alex's model of Marty's home was a home run Ben. I'm just sorry I won't be able to attend Trainstock this year to see all the additions.
Ben and club ,thank you for taking the time and effort to gather and preserve this marvelous collection of Marty’s work and thanks to Dottie for making it available to you.

Probably should have used a block & tackle to maneuver South Station in place Ben. That’s one heavy structure. 💪🏿
Looking forward to seeing it all at Trainstock 13.

Magnificent job. You are fortunate to have so much space to work with. I agree with the others that Marty would be happy to see where his buildings ended up. Hope that his trains find purchasers who will appreciate Marty's collection including some Hornby I gave him as a present many many years ago. Here's a photo from the past. I'm on the left.

Ben....you guys are so lucky to have all of those structures from Marty's layout. Wish I had just one on mine! So glad that you and the NJHR are preserving Marty's legacy in this hobby. Still miss him so much.
It was great to see all of Marty's stuff at TrainStock, sure wish I could have seen Marty there as well.
Saved the best for last!
