I have Lionel's Legacy Command system 990 and my power supply that came with the system is not working. I need to buy another power supply that only works on the Legacy Base that came with it originally. Does anyone know where I can purchase one? Thanks

No need to buy another Legacy power supply. The likely scenario is that the internal fuse is blown. You can replace it with a PTC and never have to worry about it blowing again. See this thread for details. BTW, it takes a triangular security bit to open the case. Check your local big box store.

Thanks so much for your help. I'm 77 and getting into this electrical stuff can be intimidating. I don't know much about this stuff only that it cost a ton of money. I think I burned up the transformer by leaving it on. I went a bought another new system because I could never get anyone to help me figure this out. Now I know, I should have come here last year.
