The problem with loader seems to be a bad remote!!

The extreme frustration with trying to make the loader work finally resulted in hooking up one of the other remotes (not the one I had been trying to clone) and the loader worked.  Somehow the remote is preventing the loader from finding the TIU.  Two days of frustration behind a bad remote that works fine on the layout.  Sure wish these MTH problems were easier to resolve; even with The Book of Barry it can drive one to drink.

Now how to convince MTH the remote is bad even though it works ... hummmmm ....

Copairing it to the other remote which works the pins are sitting at a slight slope from left to right; could it be the jack is bad or is there some way to straighten that out or do I need to order a replacement part from MTH (assuming they are available)?  I did a factory reset on it and was then able to download the data I had uploaded from remote 2 which worked but it doesn't seem to want to allow an upload of data from the remote to the PC.
