Well, here we are again going into the holidays fellow tinplaters. The search for the cookie tin houses continue. I believe last year there were no sightings. Lets's see what happens this year. I have already roamed the local Wally World here in Canton MI with no luck. My set from two years ago will be going on the Christmas  layout here at the office this week. Pictures coming.......

Those are the tins (see link posted by Jim)...the same buildings sought over the past several years.  However, they are the exact same ones that were previously available at places like Big Lots and Wal-Mart in prior years at a much lower cost (filled with some really bed cookies and not chocolates).

The problem will be in finding NEW buildings, if such things actually exist.  I believe I have about 10 or so of the buildings issued in previous years, and will look for some new ones this year when I'm out and about.  Found nothing last year.

Looks like those same tins have gotten around a lot!

Unfortunately, the chocolates in these are very good - much too good in fact!

Good news for sure, Jim, because the cookies left a lot to be desired.  Fortunately, after a taste myself and an attempt to share them with my more picky colleagues, I just tossed them.  With a dozen tin buildings purchased over two years, that amounted to a LOT of cookies.
