those green roof tops | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

What is best coloration for weathering these things, !!! they are just to green,

and to bright, or do ya'll leave them alone ( 3 are older), accessories, the other

is 2011 or 2012 ? cant remember

One way to tone-down is to spray a flat black mist no closer than 12". Do a little bit at a time. Be sure to mask-off other areas, if needed. For a black roof, use lt.grey or white spray paint very lightly.

Flat spray paint. Then come back with weathering of your choice.

Are we talking about roofs that are colored green or something else? I'll admit some of the green Lionel used is a bit on the bright side. Not sure what Sally is talking about.
