As simple as simple can be. First train (tree too!) in our house together

Just a standard set of fastrack 0-36 loop in the middle with a trolley. Outside is half a dogbone, still using the 0-36 fastrack, just needed one 5” straight to complete.

Inner circle:

Lionel bump n’ go trolley going for a ride on the inside

Outside train:

Conrail BEEP - even though none of the engines I run are conrail blue anymore, I thought it was appropriate

Lionel 1992 boxcar - my wife’s birth year

Lionel 1989 boxcar - my birth year

Lionel Angela Trotta Thomas boxcar - just cause it’s cool!

Lionel Dept 56 snow hopper - just for fun!

Lionel maintenance car with santa - Just incase the underside of the tree needs some work!

Lionel 1999 boxcar - was given as a gift

Lionel Poinsettia aquarium/mint car - Always has these flowers when growing up as a kid on the Christmas table

Lionel candy mountain express hopper - who doesn’t love candy!?

Lionel LCCA gondola with containers - just so neat with Lenny the Lion with the santa hat

Lionel 2016 Macy boxcar (not pictured) - purchased at Macy’s in New York city by my wife during our tree to see the tree

Lionel Conrail porthole caboose - while we do have two cabooses remaining, neither is a porthole but every proper train needs one!

Merry Christmas all

This year the locomotive with Christmas duty is NC&StL #806 (EMD F3 A-unit). The buildings are predominately Menard's as the Dollar Store strip mall sprung up beside Lionel's Hobby Shop.DSCN0300

In the tree is Hallmark's Gold Hudson ornament. It is a hint as to what locomotive will have Christmas duty next year: Lionel's Gold Hudson will be pulling a yet to be determined consist.
