TIU problems

Actually, connecting voltage to the outputs shouldn't damage a TIU unless you had a different voltage connected to the same input.  The TIU is designed to run in passive mode with voltage only on the output side.  However, you may have damage the DCS output.

Can you use the other TIU channels?

Is the TIU powered?  Powering F2 does not power the TIU just the output/input of F2.  F1 or aux power must be used to power the TIU circuitry.  G

What GGG said. You need F1 or Aux power for the TIU Circuitry to be functional.

BTW, if you look through the top of the TIU, you should see a lit red LED. No light =no power. And the number of times it flashes when you power on tells you the address number of the TIU. Any number between 1 and 5 inclusive is normal.
