I just picked up a NIB TMCC command base and hooked it to my TIU with the MTH TMCC/Legacy adapter cable. Everything works fine. The only weird thing I noticed is if I press AUX1 + 3 to manually increase diesel RPM the RPMs go up but the DCS remote displays " Engine Not On Track" every time I press AUX1 + 3. It doesn't do that with any other AUX1 + a number key, just AUX1 +3. It doesn't hurt anything it's just weird to see. Both my TIU and remote are running version 6.0 software. Is this just a random glitch?

Played around with the DCS remote. Turns out I can use the REV UP/DOWN rocker to change the revs instead of AUX1 + 3. So I guess this question is moot.
Lou,
What version of DCS is in the remote and the TIU?

DCS version 6.0 on both the remote and TIU.
Pressing AUX1 +3 displays "Engine Not On Track" but the rpms still go up and the locomotive continues to respond to all TMCC commands. "Engine Not On Track" just displays briefly with the press of AUX1 + 3 and then the remote display goes right back to the normal TMCC screen.
Lou,
It's possible that DCS 6.1 may allow use of the AUX1 + 3 command. No guarantees, however.
Being that the REV UP/DOWN rocker does the same thing I'll stick with that. All other AUX1 + number keys work without that message.
