I haven't been able to find the answer on eBay or in Lionel literature, so here goes;
Does Lionel or anyone make a Y-cable in order to connect TWO Powerhouse bricks (135 watt each) to ONE PowerMASTER. Wanting it parallel to maintain same voltage, but increase available AMPs.
Or would that overload the 135/180 powermaster circuits?

It would overload a Powermaster. You would probably want to get a TPC 300 or 400 if you want more power to the tracks using 2 bricks on one feed.
Yes, TMCC TPC Cable Set (6-14194) Designed to hook two PH 135's together. The "Y" connection can be used with PH 180's also. Keep in mind that there needs to be a block system that fuses (down) track power feeds to 7.5 amps or less, IMO. Mike CT
Thanks, Jeff; I was just trying to use what I had without purchasing too much other HW. The layout's really not that big (4 x 6') to need a TPC though (I say in ignorance...).
Mike; Could you elaborate? What do you mean by fuse down the power to 7.5A? To me, that means a resistor, which would then defeat what I was trying to do in the first place...

Mike is only recommending that you fuse[protect] the 135 watt PoHos[7.5 amp] at their rated capacity. Has nothing to do with resisters.
As already noted,you should only parallel Powerhouses by linking to a Track Power Controller[TPC]. You will double the wattage to 270 [or 15 amps]@ 18 volts.
