Has anyone heard from Douglas Pitney lately?  I was in contact with him in July, talked to him once in September.  I've sent Internet messages and left messages on his telephone answering machine, have yet to receive a reply.  Are they still in business? Has the Covid 19 downturn affected his sales?  Is he meeting his obligations to customers and creditors?  John

I have talked to him on the phone a couple of times over the past month and a half. I placed an order almost 4 months ago. At the time of the order he told me it was going into production and he would ship in a few weeks. I did send him an email after waiting a month which he did not respond to. I talked with him after another month and he said it was delayed for some unspecified reason and would ship the following Monday. After not receiving it I called and left a message which was not returned. Talked to him again on 10/1 at which time he said it was delayed again and it would ship the following Monday. I still haven't received it. To date he hasn't met his obligation to me.

John and Ken-

We are still in business and yes, a little behind the 8-ball. Yes, the summer shutdown hit hard but that is no excuse for me. Was actually on the way out of the hole until unregulated pressure from the well caused what turned out to be a compromised hot water heater to burst, contributing 3" to 4" of water in the basement. This happened coming up on two weeks ago. Initially I did not think that it was that bad, but I did lose all of the Taskboard and a large number of train boxes got wet. As I posted last week in another link, the lesson is to have your well and hot water heater serviced every year. For the record, if your well pressure regulator and hot water heater are in the 10-15 year old range, you are living on borrowed time. Our hot water heater was replaced 11 years ago and last serviced 2 years ago. The well pressure regulator had to be at least 20 years old.

Since then the tables have been covered with items that are drying out. Please have patience with me while I put everything back to operational order. Thankfully no models in progress were damaged and I will be able to return to assembly and shipping this week.
