Hello,

I am trying to install tomar marker lights from Royz trains. I followed the instructions on how to get them to light up, but when I put a multimeter to the circuit, I am getting 0.32 V which is not enough to light them up. Can someone please help? I have attached a photo of my setup.

Thanks!

Looking at your setup.  Do you have the 1.5v lights ?  The wires look like they have insulation on them.   Tomar has those and an LED version which the wires are very thin.
Have you contacted Roy.  He’s always responsive to e mails. I believe he sells 2 different boards for the 2 different lights. Not really sure why you need resistors if your using his board setup. If they are the 1.5v bulbs.  You can test each light with a battery and at least verify the lights work.

I bought this board from Roy a few years ago for a caboose. Track power in and the pot adjusts the 3 LED’s  from full bright to off.  2.8v comes out the red and black wire regardless of where the pot is positioned for I’m guessing the Tomar LED’s. Not sure as to what you have for interior lighting.

There is an option as to which type of marker lights you are running.
