Right now I have a TPC 300 with a Cab 2 to run the few conventional locomotives I have. Over the weekend watching my son run his Polar Express train around the train I have decided I want to use the transformer handles to let him run trains on my big layout. The CAB 2 controller is a bit too much for a 3 year old to control and he has mastered the F-N-R on the transformer itself.
Is a way to set the TPC 300 to a bypass mode so the trains can be ran by the transformer itself? I still want to utilize the TPC because I like to control the trains with my CAB 2 and I like that the emergency stop cuts all power to the track. I can rig up a toggle switch to by pass the TPC when he wants to use the transformer controls but was hopping this was built in.
