I'm almost done with an upgrade for a friend to convert his Lionel JC Camelback (item no. 18089) to ERR Cruise, fan driven smoke, super chuffer, and chuff generator.
The very last thing to do is retrace the wire going from the engine and tender to hook up to the RailSounds. Since the old TMCC motherboard and DCDR had to be taken out of the locomotive to make room for the smoke unit, I had to start from scratch with the wiring to the new ERR Cruise Commander.
Fortunately, Lionel's service website is up and running, so I could download the wiring diagram for the locomotive. Unfortunately, it doesn't indicate which wire is which. I just need to know in which order the red, green and yellow wires need to hook up back into the Cruise Commander.
