I am working on a 3D model of a handheld track ballaster, the Ballaster Master.  I know there are numerous ballast-ers   out there that operate on the track, but I wanted a handheld that I could more easily control. This is a work in progress;

the two halves will connect with inside screws not exterior tabs as shown

the purple slider is pushed inward by a thumb to allow the ballast to

fall onto the track. It is spring loaded so that it stays closed.

By moving the ballast-er across the track a controlled amount of ballast is evenly spread.

At least that is the thought.

There will be a brush inside to help move the ballast of the top face of the ties

Once I complete the design I will move to print it.
