I am trying to find a free??? computer program that I can design my Christmas layout on for the Lionel Fasttrack. This year I am changing the layout to a 4x8x8 "L" layout design. I thought that surly there is a program that I can design the layout on for the Fastrack with out me just putting the board on saw horses in the garage and trying out what works and what don't. The picture I have up loaded is last years. I have moved the cabinet so I can lengthen the layout from 6' to 8.

Try SCARM, it is free and you can get it here. There is a little bit of a learning curve, but there ae some tutorials out there that will help. Also lots of folks here use it and they can offer advice as well. Some very nice layout drawings have been done with SCARM and posted here.

They are both Windows only. No freebies for mac.
