Track plan using Atlas O-72/O-54 turnouts

 

Here is a simple track plan showing the use of Atlas O-72/O-54 curved turnouts for a passing siding.

 

A Parts List is also attached.

Here is a design I had been working on over the summer which also illustrates the use of the AtlasO curved turnout. The plan uses O-45 and O-36 curves. It took a night burning midnight oil to find the right combination to maintain the 4 1/2" spacing. (In hindsight, the easiest way would be to run a piece of flex track off of the O-72, and bend it as needed.)
