Track plans and MRR advice for beginners

I'm sure that I'm not the only O gauger that has found this fellow's site but in case you're looking for advice on track plans and general advice on model railroading themes, this is a wonderful resource. Mike's sage advice on choosing a theme, planning scenery and working out track plans to make your RR tell a story is the best primer I've found so far. Mike's trains are N gauge but his planning ideas work for any gauge.
