I've been to the Thompsons train show in W-S but are there any other good ones in the greater piedmont area? Now that one of my LHS has closed I have only one to go to and was wondering if there was going to be a show in the area anytime soon.

There may be others that I'm not aware of.
Go west young man - go west!
Not to far along I-40 there will be a pretty good show on Friday 2/28 and Saturday 3/1 just south of Asheville (exit 46) near the airport. The WNCRRC hosts this annual event that draws quite a crowd of enthusiasts and dealers from a wide area.
Our club, The Smoky Mountain Model Railroaders ( 3rail O) will be set up for the event as well as several good layouts in Large Scale, Live Steam, S and the host club's large HO setup. Also a good canteen with very reasonable prices.
Sam
Is this the complete address of the one your talking about?
Thanks

Yes, Larry - that's it.
Thanks for posting the info.
The host club does a great job with local TV coverage, good assortment of things to see and a great facility.
This is a worthwhile show!
Thanks Sam for verifying that's the one. I actually cut and pasted it from Bills post. I'm going to make a good effort to be at that one.
