Hello all -- Does anyone know if Trainminder Software for cataloging your collections is still in business? I have not seen them in the Orange Hall at York for a while now. Has anyone been in contact with them recently? Are there other good alternatives that should be considered? Thanks, Andy.

I haven't seen him at York in many years.
That’s Steve Serenska, who is a forum member. Hopefully he will see your post here. As I recall, there were no updates beyond Windows XP. Past discussions dating back five years on the forum tend to suggest the program has become orphaned.
I am working on something that will be partially crowd-sourced and free (for the private inventory side).
My day job and club (RMD TCA) responsibilities have kept me away from working it.
I got tired of all the fly-by-night train database programs falling off the edge of the earth.
I finally just put them on Excel.

Try Rail base by Albion Software.

I agree it is best to just make your own with Excel. People who write those programs try to make them all things to all people and can't keep them up to date. Making your own you can keep it simple and serve your own needs.
