All,
I have ZW Transformer that works on A & B but not C & D terminals. Is there a list of troubleshooting techniques to fix my C & D terminals? I have never seen the left side of the terminal work, even when my Dad owned the trains.

Contact Jim Lawson right here on the OGR, Jim restores ZW & KW Transformers, let him restore the ZW for ya. I have 2 Transformers from him, they work perfectly.

Could be loose lead since there is one side not working. Not a bad fix if you are confortable with basic electrics. Always unplug before you service!!
Unplug transformer. Take the four screws off transformer case. Lift case off and you can see if the studs have pulled or come loose from the copper strip that connects the four natural studs coming Thur the case. You can also test by taking you natural lead from the dead track and trying it on another post from side that is working and see if train runs. Grounding/natural posts seem to unattached themselfs from common copper strip. There are repair terminal studs kits for this common problem. While the case is off look at carbon rollers to make sure they don't have flat spots
