Transformer question

Ratings are different, but your probably OK as long as you careful.  The Brick is rated 75 watts and the controller 50W.  Not worth buying a Z500 brick, so nothing to lose. G

Thanks G.  I was thinking that since the controller is essentially a rheostat it was "allocating" (for lack of a more technical term) as it always did but on an increased wattage.  The only issue I could think of was some sort of circuit breaker that would trip.

Brick has the breaker.  Though MTH are slower.  The Controller does not have a breaker and would rely on the brick tripping.  G
