I'm getting ready to build a small staging yard for my layout. I wanted to make it portable so I can move it out of the way for other activities. I bought these trestles that I plan to place the benchwork on top of. Thought I would share the info as these might be good supports for anyone building a portable layout.
They come in a set of 2. Adjustable from 31 inches to 51 inches high in 4 inch increments. Width is 27 inches, which would easily support a 3 foot deep bench. Each trestle supports 440 pounds. The legs fold for storage. There are locking pins to secure the posts when you adjust the height. Cost around $70. Assembly required. Sold by costway.com.
