This used to work, but the layout hasn't been used in years. I have one turnout that's not working correctly. If it's entered from the straight section the green light comes on the switch, but it doesn't flip. If it's entered from the divergent path, the red light doesn't come on, but the switch does flip correctly. What should I start looking at to figure this out?

Mike, a little more info is needed. Is the DZ1000 the type with the tiny Allen screws holding the wires in place or the newer type with the wires soldered in place? Does it work with the DZ push buttons? I’ve worked on many of mine and have always found a solution, mostly wiring.

Swap that DA-1000 out with another. Try it. If you still have problems with that particular DZ-1000 you might want to send it to Dennis Zander, he will repair and return.
