I don't know if there is a tutorial as such.
Pingman's link is a pretty good summary with pictures of how to do it. Due to differences in vehicles, lighting them at times can be a challenge.
A search of previous threads came up with these two that may be of help to you. The threads talk about installing lights in 'Streets vehicle but same principle applies to stationary also. Only difference is how power is supplied. Also check out forum sponsor Evan Designs. They have a number of offerings that make it very easy to install lights in vehicles.
