Whoo Hoo!!! What a great way to start off the year - looks like the Traingineers will have to start on new Hellgate Layout for the Dallas TW TrainWorx Showroom Chief Traingineer, Roger Farkash, designed this layout a decade ago... dang dog, how time flies by - geez!!! Personally, this table design is one of my favs.

Before I jumped over here to the forum, I posted about this on the TW TrainWorx Facebook Page and received this Traintastic Review from Jim West:

Great mountains, bridges, buildings, trees, and table base, with a Blue Comet above and an electric line below . . .
I'm not a fan of most toy train layouts but this one is exceptional art. Absolutely magical.

The size of the stations are mitigated by the smaller city buildings at left and the mountain draws your eyes to the center and makes the scene much larger than it is. Oh, and the period automobiles, too. Wow. I really love this. Congrats!

Beautiful layout and workmanship. I can certainly see why someone would want to purchase it but can't imagine why it took ten years to get an offer.  Rockwork on TW Trainworx layouts is superb.

Thank you! I didn't mean to confuse you - Roger first designed his custom hellgate table 10 years ago. It's been through a couple of enhancements since then and this one hasn't been for sale for 10 years rather been in our Showroom for all to enjoy and bring trains to run on... someone came in and basically made an offer I couldn't refuse : )

Have a wonderful weekend,

Time to up the ante!

Is this the same layout that would be on tour at train shows etc?  It looks like what I saw last year in Houston with Mike R.

No, this isn't that same as our "traveling" layout. Which by the way, Traingineers Roger and George just headed south to Houston for tomorrow's TCA show with that same layout. Here it is:

Dorcie,

Please don’t clear out your showroom completely before I get a chance to get to Dallas.  :-)

Thanks, TW TrainWorx, for all your inspirational artistry and craftsmanship.

Cheers!

PS: We do get to NC on occasion.  Anything to see there??

Thanks Alan! There's always something to see in our Showroom and 25,000 sq. ft. Dallas Studio Give Mike Reagan a call first and see what he's got going on in NC - we're constantly designing...fabricating... installing... repeat
