Just thought I'd post a couple photos of the 14"H x 8'L double mountain/tunnels I've been working on. I first saw it in its basic pink foam form. Since then I've covered it in plaster cloth and sceniked it with latex wall paints and a sponge. One tree has popped up on top and many more are waiting to join it. There is a waterfall cut into each end but not yet installed. A plastic river will flow from each waterfall. The left section will be logging themed and the right some type of mine theme if we can find something in mine buildings. We're considering a swinging bridge between the two plateaus.
The layout is 16' x 28' and is quickly filling up with an oil field, gas tank complex, village, yard with turntable and a downtown. Three pop ups on verticle drawer glides will give us center access. It's a fun project that we're about six months into.
