Years ago, I cut off the coaxial plug from the output cable of a Lionel 72-watt wall work so I could attached the stripped-back wires to a lock-on attached to tubular track at the base of the Christmas tree. Later, I bought FasTrack for use at that "holiday layout."
Now I'm wondering, which wire is "hot" and which wire is "ground." One of the two output wires has small ridges on it; I think that may be the ground wire. I intend to solder a "size L" coaxial plug to these wires, so I want it to be correct for use with a FasTrack Terminal Track section. Advice welcome!
