Personally, I would love to see something like this for O gauge... both single and double wide portholes:
I have to look, but I do believe I have a set of Stone K Lines. Look around from those, they turn up now and then.
Our train club used the Railking stone portals, like you show in one of your pictures. For the side walls, one of our members carved them out of high density Styrofoam.

Carve two from pink foam. Throw the first one away. After that, you will be amazed how easy it is to get exactly what you want and all your friends will proclaim your prowess.
