Juat received a TX Special set from one of the major Lionel dealers. They said this set was new and they had bought it in a collection. When I received it it appeard new but there was no orange module in the box with the powered A Unit (E7). Is there suppose to be an orange module with this set? It is Legacy loco E7. The owner's manual does not mention an orange module.

Was it Gyrzboski that you purchased the set from?
Yes, Gryzboski.
FWIW you really don't need the module. It only takes an extra 10-15 seconds to scroll and enter the engine manually.
Can you buy them from Lionel this long after sets were originally sold? 773Hudson are you sure these modules went with the E7s in the 2007 6-31755 set?

yes, only E7's I own. Nice set but there was a problem with the plastic Lionel used for the passenger car windows. The nicest way to describe it is that the windows look like they have frost on them. You should check to see if yours are ok.
Gyrzboski did that to me on a engine and it was not a pleasant experience dealing with them. If you are a internet out of state customer they treat you like.... Well. I cannot say it here.

You got that one right - that is why I no longer order from them!
